Benchmark Lexington started the annual Boots in the Bluegrass charity event in 2013 and has raised nearly half of a Million dollars to date, all of which has gone to veterans charities such as The Boot Campaign and USA Cares. It is with extreme gratitude and humility that we support those that have served our country and sacrificed for each of us.

“Shortly after 9/11, Homes for Heroes, Inc. was established to give back to firefighters, law enforcement, military (active, reserves, and veterans), healthcare workers, EMS and teachers for all they do”. Benchmark Mortgage is a participating mortgage lender helping HFH’s mission to “provide extraordinary savings to heroes who provide extraordinary services to our nation and its communities everyday.”

A non-profit foundation established in memory of Makenna David who died at 20 months old from a rare lung disease; it raises funds to support Kentucky Children’s Hospital and to bring “hope, joy and courage for children facing life-threatening trauma and illness”.

University of Kentucky’s K Fund raises money to provide “the resources necessary to ensure our student-athletes have the opportunity to earn a first-class education and compete for championships. These resources are provided through student-athlete scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities and the financial support essential for UK Athletics’ 22 varsity sport programs to excel”

“LHS is the largest pet adoption agency in Central Kentucky”, educating “the community on responsible pet care and the compassionate treatment of all animals”. They also provide spay/neuter services. C. Todd Riley Memorial Fund

In memoriam of Todd Riley and to celebrate his life that was cut too short, an annual Golf Scramble is held to raise scholarship money for deserving kids from his alma maters: Bryan Station High School and Eastern Kentucky University, Panhellenic member
